N. Vietnam, Bac Can prov., Ba Be distr., Nam Mau municipality, near Hua Tang village, Ba Be national park (22°27′10′'N, 105°34′29′'E). Remnants of primary dry broad-leaved evergreen forest on very steep eroded limestone bluffs of Ba Be lake at elev. 200-250 m a.s.l. Terrestrial fern. Locally common.
