Remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest on very steep hill slopes and rocky river valley composed with stratified shale and sandstone at elev. about 50-70 m a.s.l.
Shrub 1.5-2.5 m tall on river slopes. Flowers light yellowish-green. Common.
