Remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest on very steep hill slopes along river valley composed with stratified shale and sandstone at elev. about 100-150 m a.s.l.
Shrub 1-2 m tall on very steep rocky shady slope. Flowers white. Occasional.
