Thua Thien – Hue Prov., Nam Dong Distr., Thuong Lo Municipality, along Cha Mang stream, around point 16°07′58″N 107°44′46″E.

Primary evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest on very steep hill slopes and along ridge composed with stratified shale and sandstone at elev. about 400-450 m a.s.l.

Woody vine 15-20 m long in rather open slope. Flowers from pink to bright red-orange. Common.
