Primary evergreen broad-leaved lowland forest on very steep hill slopes and along tops of ridge composed with stratified shale at elev. 500-600 m a.s.l.
Epiphyte on tall trees on very steep rocky shady slope. Flowers yellowish, lip with red nerves. Not common.
