Thanh Hoa Prov., Thuong Xuan Distr., Bat Mot Municipality, Ban Vin vill., Xuan Lien Nature Reserve, shale mountains, around point 19°58′18″N 104°59′10″E, 750-950 m.

Scattered in secondary closed evergreen seasonal tropical broad-leaved submontane forests on stream banks and slopes of mountains.

Small evergreen treelet, up to 5-7 m, Ripe fruits at first yellow, then orange, finally blackish brown.
