Thanh Hoa Prov., Quan Son Distr., Na Meo Municipality, Ban Son vill., shale mountains, about 10 km to NW of Na Meo centre (around point 20°17′28″N 104°40′43″E, 300 m).
Clustered in heavily logged primary open mixte forests on slopes of shale mountains, about 400-700 m Perennial herb.
