Pinaceae Keteleeria evelyniana Thanh Hoa Prov., Muong Lat Distr., Muong Ly Municipality, Sa Loong vill., around point 20°32′37″N 104°40′10″E, 400-600 m, sandstone mountains, in logged evergreen mixte lowland forests on slopes, sometimes with Pinus latteri near stream banks.
Medium-sized evergreen tree, up to 20-25 m tall, dbh 0.6-0.7 m or more
Was common, nowadays become endangered species due to logging for timber and mainly to enlarged shifting cultivation.
