Phu Tho Prov., Tan Son Distr., Xuan Son Comm., Ten shale mountain, 21006′55” N, 104056′08” E, 700-120 m, about 3 km to SW of Du vill., 21007′26” N, 104057′29” E. In undisturbed and slightly logged evergreen primary forests on slopes and ridges of shale mountains. Small or medium-sized tree, 10-55 x 0.3-0.5 m; ripe seed red.
