Phu Tho Prov., Tan Son Distr., Xuan Son Comm., Can mt., around point 21010′02” N, 104054′24” E, ca. 700-1140 m, ca. 5 km to NW of Coi vill., 21009′13” N, 104056′47” E, lower and medium parts of slope of limestone mountains.
Mostly scattered, occasionally clustered in 3-5 trees in primary closed evergreen broad-leaved lowland and submontane forests of limestone mts.
Evergreen tree, up to 15-20 x 0.3-0.4 m or more; regeneration rare.
