Pholidota ? sp. Ha Giang Prov., Quan Ba Distr., Can Ty Comm., ca. 1200-1400 m, about 1 km to W of Dau Cau Vill. (around point 23005′06” N, 105001′56” E), ridges of limestone mountains.

In heavily logged primary closed evergreen conifer (Pseudotsuga sinensis, Xanthocyparis vietnamensis) submontane forests.

Scattered, lithophyte.
