Ha Giang Prov., Quan Ba Distr., Bat Dai Son Comm., Phan Giong mt., ca. 700-1100 m, about 1 km to W of Sin Suoi Ho Vill., near ridges and ridges of limestone mountains.
In primary closed evergreen conifer submontane on ridges of limestone mountains and in heavily logged primary evergreen Burretiodendron hsienmu on upper part of slopes, near ridges.
Lithophyte; clustered in small group of several plants.
