Ha Giang Prov., Dong Van Distr., Pho Bang Townlet, 23?14′59” N, 105?10′56” E, 1463 m. Introduced and cultivated rarely as ornamental shrub or street treelet in highland of Ha Giang. Usually grow as small sized treelet, less than 5 x 0.2 m. Ripe pollen cones and young seed cones; ripe seed cones opened and seeds fallen down probably about one month ago.
