Vietnam, Dac Lac Prov., Krong Nang Distr., Ea Ho municipality, Trap K’Sor Glyptostrobus pensilis Reserve, around point 12°59′12″N 108°16′50″E.

Secondary shrubs and secondary forest on seasonally wet, swampy gray soils on the place of extinct primary swamp forest at elevation about 700 m a.s.l.

Tree to 25 m tall. Common. Element of first stratum of pristine primary swamp forest. Fruits greenish with orange-brown hairiness.
