Vietnam, Quang Binh Prov., Quang Ninh Distr., Truong Son municipality, around point 17°20′20″N 106°27′39″E. Primary and secondary broad-leaved forest on steep shale hill slopes along Khe Viet stream at elevation about 70 m a.s.l. Creeping herb on open wet secondary short tall grassland along road. Locally very common.
