Mixed and coniferous primary forest with Dacrydium and Fokienia along ridge edge composed with brown shale and sandstone at elevation 1000-1100 m a.s.l.

Epiphyte. Rare. Cultivated in Nguyentien nursery. Blooming Mar-Apr 09. With brownish transversal traces on lateral lobes of lip
