Mixed and coniferous primary forest with Dacrydium and Fokienia along ridge edge composed with brown shale and sandstone at elevation 1000-1100 m a.s.l.
Creeping terrestrial herb in mossy wet places along small streamlet. Flowers pink-purple, anthers yellow. Not common.
