Lang Son Prov., Huu Lung Distr., Huu Lien Comm., Tan Lai Vill., Lan Mai Mt., Huu Lien NR, ca. 430-450 m a.s.l., around point 21040′20.1” N, 106023′27.1” E, along top ridges, in completely logged primary closed evergreen mixed forests (conifer species was Cupressus tonkinensis). Perennial herb, up to 0.5 m tall. All plant parts are covered by whitish wool, especially young parts, lower fece of leaves and inflorescence.
