Remnants of primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forests on very steep slopes of hill composed with solid highly eroded limestone at elevation 450-500 m a.s.l.

Terrestrial herb to 1 m tall in shady humid place. Fruits white, juicy. Occasional, but usually sterile.
