Primary broad-leaved closed wet forest on very steep rocky slopes and cliffs of low remnant mountains composed with highly eroded solid marble-like limestone at elevation about 600-700 m a.s.l.
Treelet 4-6 m tall on very steep rocky shady slope. Fruits light green. Not common.
