Primary broad-leaved closed wet forest on very steep rocky slopes and cliffs of low remnant mountains composed with highly eroded solid marble-like limestone at elevation about 600-700 m a.s.l.
Terrestrial undershrub to 1.5 m tall in shady place on steep rocky slope. Inflorescence white. Not common.
