Primary broad-leaved closed wet forest on very steep rocky slopes and cliffs of low remnant mountains composed with highly eroded solid marble-like limestone at elevation about 600-700 m a.s.l.
Terrestrial herb to 1.5 m tall in shady wet place on steep rocky slope. Flowers green, anthers yellow. Not common.
