Primary broad-leaved closed wet forest on very steep rocky slopes and cliffs of low remnant mountains composed with highly eroded solid marble-like limestone at elevation about 600-700 m a.s.l.
Creeping terrestrial herb in shady wet alluvial valley of small stream. Inflorescence and spathe white. Locally very common. Usual dominant of herbaceous stratum in shady stream valleys.
