Yen Bai Prov., Mu Cang Chai Distr., Nam Co Comm., Phinh Ngai Vill., Trung Tu Pa hill, around point 21053′44” N, 104017′50” E. Scattered in secondary and completely logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forests on slopes of mountains, 1650-1800 m a.s.l., on shale and sandstone basic rocks, mixte sometimes with quartzite. Shrubs, 2-3 m. Flowers white.
