FLORA OF VIETNAM Melastomataceae Blastus cochinchinensis
Northern Vietnam, Ha Tinh Prov., Huong Son Distr., Son Kim Municipality, to the S of Rao An village, around point 18°20′50′'N, 105°14′09′'E. Primary evergreen submontane seasonal broad-leaved and mixed (with Dacrycarpus) forest along granite ridge at 1000 m a.s.l. Shrub 1.5-2 m hg. Flowers yellowish. Very common. Usual co-dominant of shrub forest stratum.
