Primary evergreen submontane seasonal broad-leaved and mixed (with Dacrycarpus) forest along granite ridge at 1000-1100 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb on very steep rocky slope. Flowers light pink, stigma and anthers yellow. Leaves above and below uniform green. Common.
