Northern Vietnam, Ha Tinh Prov., Huong Son Distr., Son Kim Municipality, to the S of Rao An village, around point 18°20′50′'N, 105°14′09′'E. Primary evergreen submontane seasonal broad-leaved and mixed (with Dacrycarpus) forest along granite ridge at 1000-1100 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb 0.4-0.6 m hg on very steep rocky slope. Flowers white, central tepal with 2 purple stripes.
