Northern Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Quan Ba Distr., Thanh Van
Municipality. Cultivated tree taken from the wild in the vicinity of
Lung Cung village at right side of Mien River, around point
23°07′12′'N, 105°00′52′'E in primary coniferous forest with
Pseudotsuga brevifolia on remnant highly eroded limestone ridge at
elev. about 980 m a.s.l.
