Primary evergreen broad-leaved wet montane forest with Fokienia hodginsii on steep granite and quartzite slopes of SW exposition at elev. 1800-1900 m a.s.l. Deciduous tree about 10 m hg. Young leaves pinkish. Flowers white. Common.
