Primary evergreen seasonal broad-leaved lowland forest on crystalline marble-like highly eroded limestone, steep rocky slopes of limestone ridge at elev. 500-600 m. Tree up to 45 m hg and 2 m in diam. Very common. One of main dominants of 1 forest stratum at elev. 400-700 m a.s.l.
