Primary evergreen seasonal broad-leaved closed lowland forest on very steep slopes and cliffs of rocky ridge composed with crystalline marble-like highly eroded limestone at elev. 650-800 m. Lithophyte on vertical cliffs. Flowers light pink. Leaves deep green with white stripes along veins, deep purple-violet below. Very common.
