Primary evergreen seasonal broad-leaved closed submontane forest on basalt along main ridge at elev. 1200-1400. Terrestrial creeping herb up to 20 cm tall. Leaves uniform deep green. Flowers: sepals light pink-brown, petals and lip white. Common.
