Primary broad-leaved evergreen closed forest on very steep slopes and cliffs near tops of rocky ridge composed with solid marble-like stratified limestone.
Terrestrial achlorophyllous pink-brown saprophyte up to 0.6 m tall. Flowers light brown-yellow, lip yellow, column white. Fruits light brown-yellow with purple tint, juicy. Rare.
