Secondary broad-leaved evergreen closed shady forest on very steep slopes and cliffs of rocky ridges and mesae composed with light gray solid marble-like crystalline limestone.
Epiphyte. Leaves with purple-violet marks above, deep purple-violet below. Not rare.
