Primary closed evergreen broad-leaved and coniferous lowland forest (with Dacrydium elatum) along rocky ridge composed with solid marble-like highly eroded stratified crystalline limestone at elevation 550-650 m a.s.l.
Epiphyte on high tree (on Pistacia cucphuongensis, Memecylon sp., Quercus sp., Myrsine seguinei, Rutaceae, Streblus macrophyllus, Dacrydium elatum, Aglaia sp., Knema sp.). Very common.
