Slightly logged primary closed broad-leaved evergreen forest on slopes of mountains composed with shale and sandstone.
Epiphyte on high trees (Hopea mollissima, Schima wallichii, Diplopanax vietnamensis, Choerospondias axillaris, Podocarpus neriifolius, Dacrycarpus imbricatus, Engelhardia roxburghiana). Very common.
