Slightly logged primary closed broad-leaved evergreen forest on steep slopes of mountains composed with shale and sandstone along stream canyon.
Epiphyte (Hopea mollissima, Schima wallichii, Diplopanax vietnamensis, Choerospondias axillaris, Podocarpus neriifolius, Dacrycarpus imbricatus, Engelhardia roxburghiana) and lithophyte on shady steep slopes. Not common.
