Secondary closed broad-leaved evergreen forest and scrub on rocky steep slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline deep gray limestone.
Epiphyte (on Hopea mollissima, Schima wallichii, Allospondias lakonensis, Streblus ilicifolius, Engelhardia roxburghiana) on steep rocky slope near top of mountain. Not common.
