Secondary closed broad-leaved evergreen forest and scrub on rocky steep slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline deep gray limestone.
Epiphyte on tall trees (on Adenanthera microsperma, Gleditsia sp., Streblus macrophyllus, Streblus ilicifolius) on vertical shady cliff. Not common.
