Secondary closed broad-leaved evergreen forest and scrub on rocky steep slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline gray limestone.

Epiphytic (on Streblus ilicifolius, Adenanthera microsperma, Gleditsia sp.) and lithophytic vine up to 2 m long on rocky top of ridge. Common.
