Secondary closed broad-leaved evergreen forest and scrub on rocky steep slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline gray limestone.
Epiphyte (on Adenanthera microsperma, Gleditsia sp., Streblus macrophyllus, Radermachera sinica) on steep shady rocky slope near top of ridge. Not common.
