Vietnam, Thua Thien – Hue Prov., A Luoi Distr., A Roang Municipality, Tra Lenh Forestry Department station, around point 16°04′38′'N, 107°29′10′'E.

Primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep mountain slopes composed with shale and granite at elevation 700-800 m a.s.l.

Shrub 1.5-2 m tall. Flowers white with very light pink tint. Not common.
