Primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep mountain slopes composed with shale, sandstone and granite at elevation 700-800 m a.s.l.
Achlorophyllous white ground tuberiferous saprophyte on shady slope of rocky stream valley. Tepals (including lip) white with black-violet tips, column white, fruits white with dirty purple-violet marks, later light yellowish. Rare.
