Vietnam, Thua Thien – Hue Prov., A Luoi Distr., Hong Van Municipality, Ta Lo village, around point 16°21′52′'N, 107°09′36′'E at elevation about 800-1000 m a.s.l.
Secondary wet broad-leaved closed forest on steep mountain slopes composed with shale and granite.
Lithophytic and terrestrial herb on wet mossy rocks along shady stream canyon. Leaves deep green, with pink net of nerves. Not common.
