Vietnam, Thua Thien – Hue Prov., A Luoi Distr., Hong Van Municipality, Ta Lo village, around point 16°23′44′'N, 107°09′15′'E at elevation about 1000-1150 m a.s.l.
Secondary wet closed broad-leaved forest on very steep mountain slopes and edges of ridges composed with shale.
Climbing shrub 2-3 m tall in open place along trail. Flowers white. Very common, particularly on open slopes with highly degraded soils.
