Vietnam, Thua Thien – Hue Prov., A Luoi Distr., Huong Nguyen Municipality, in vicinities of Tra Ve forest protection station, around point 16°15′27′'N, 107°26′15′'E at elevation about 150-250 m a.s.l.
Secondary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep hill and mountain slopes composed with shale.
Terrestrial herb 1-1.5 m tall on hill slopes near the top of ridge. Flowers white to light yellowish. Not common.
