Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Meo Vac Distr, Sung Tra Municipality, around point 23°10′12″N, 105°21′46″E at elevation about 1100-1150 m a.s.l.

Remnants of primary coniferous forest with Pseudotsuga sinensis on tops of high rocky remnant ridge composed with highly eroded marble-like limestone.

Terrestrial and lithophytic herb on very steep mossy wet rocky slope. Flowers light pink, tepals with deep purple base. Leaves uniform green. Common.
