Highly degraded remnants of coniferous forest with Tsuga chinensis on very steep rocky slopes and along tops of rocky remnant ridges composed with highly eroded marble-like limestone.
Terrestrial herb up to 1.5 m tall in open grassy place. Flowers white. Not rare.
