Degraded primary coniferous forest with Pseudotsuga sinensis, Tsuga chinensis and Pinus sp. on very steep rocky slopes and along tops of narrow rocky remnant ridge composed with highly eroded marble-like limestone.
Shrub 1-1.5 m tall on very steep rocky mossy slope. Flowers light yellow-greenish. Not rare.
