Ha Giang Prov., Dong Van distr., Sinh Lung mun., 23?12′38″ N, 105?17′24″ E, 1420 m. Scattered on ridges of limestone mountains, in submontane coniferous forests. Trees, still small, 2-3 m tall; seed cones very young.
